We were fortunate enough to obtain some of the original Canadian maple stage floor from the fabulous Rock City, Nottingham, during a recent refurbishment. Rock City is a legendary venue established in 1980. What to do with a bunch of sticky dented rock hard secret nailed tongue and grooved maple? Turn it into a guitar, what else. So we came up with a chambered body, African mahogany back and the stage floor top, complete with deep binding to hide the t & g. The original finish was lightly sanded back and most of the original stiletto marks can still be seen. There will be three more similar guitars.
