The NCG Bayou is handmade in our Nottingham workshop. The guitar is heavily distressed and hand-carved, with a solid body. All the bling & niceties are dispensed with. Steel & brass hardware actively encouraged and designed to tarnish & corrode. Don’t be precious, just sweat it and play it. Think Swamp Thing on steroids.
This particular guitar strays from the original stripped back Bayou ethos, having both a pair of pickups and a Mastery OMV vibrato. The base Bayou price is £1450, with the additional hardware, cost of this version is £1700
Our concepts are original, incorporating as many parts of our own design and manufacture as possible.
We only use top-quality materials and woods and try always try to source in the UK. We have developed our own range of bespoke bridges, along with neck plates, string trees, string ferrule blocks, strap buttons and the alloy NCG T-Bar. All metal hardware is made locally in Nottingham. NCG bridges and parts are available to buy separately, please enquire.

Some guitars are made from reclaimed woods and no two instruments are the same. It’s the small detail that makes all the difference, such as celluloid binding, custom decals, handmade celluloid pick guards, engraved switch rings, handmade in Newcastle upon Tyne or the Haramis knobs, admittedly all the way from New Jersey. A variety of quality hand wound pickups are available and guitars can be customised to order.
