Shipping & Returns

Mainland UK

Royal Mail Special delivery is available on Mastery Bridge & accessories to mainland UK. Goods will be dispatched first class tracked as soon as possible and usually within 24 hours of ordering. For all other products, including guitars, please email us prior to ordering to discuss delivery options. Our preferred method of shipping guitars within the UK is by door-to-door courier.

International Shipping

We ship worldwide, fully insured, at the customer’s expense. Please email us for an international shipping quote.

Alternatively, we are happy to securely pack instruments, free of charge, to be collected by the buyer’s own courier, at buyer’s expense. Please email to enquire about delivery options. Payment must be received in full cleared funds, in Sterling, by bank transfer, before goods are shipped.
International customers, please note: all VAT taxes duties or other charges related to import and shipping are the responsibility of the buyer.

CITES

We will supply all necessary paperwork to export an instrument where CITES regulations are applicable; there may be a fee for this. CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of wild fauna & flora) is broadly applicable to any instrument containing ivory or Brazilian Rosewood, among others. The buyer is responsible for acquiring all import paperwork in to their chosen country. We will not be responsible for loss or seizure if the buyer has not fully complied with CITES regulations.

Returns Policy

Seven-Day Money Back terms: any unseen goods can be returned for any reason within seven working days from receipt of goods for a refund, less our carriage costs. We must be notified by email andy@nottinghamcityguitars.com or in writing at 7 Woolpack Lane, Nottingham, NG1 1GA should you wish to make a return. Returned goods must be in their original condition and packaging. If you decide that you do not wish to keep an item, you can return it to us at your own expense, including shipping and Customs costs. The Returns Policy does not apply to instruments or products inspected by the customer at our premises before purchase or custom builds.

Refunds can only be made by the original payment method. Outbound costs incurred will not be refunded, whether the item was shipped free of charge or otherwise. All returned items must be insured at their full value at the customer’s expense and remain the customer’s responsibility and risk until received in good order by Nottingham City Guitars. Signature for receipt of returned packages is not deemed proof of good order. The customer has a duty to maintain, secure and take reasonable care of the goods while in their possession. The customer has a duty to properly pack goods for return to avoid transit damage.

Instruments and goods that have been altered, tampered with or damaged cannot be returned. Instruments cannot be returned as faulty or defective where a specific defect was previously advised to the customer at or before the point of sale. This includes information and photos listed on our website. We would prefer all customers to inspect and play their chosen instrument before purchase. Custom/bespoke orders cannot be returned unless agreed in writing prior to purchase.

The customer must comply with, obtain all necessary paperwork and pay all charges relating to CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of wild fauna & flora) applications for returned goods. Please email us at andy@nottinghamcityguitars.com should you require any further information or clarification.
